Description
Best Egg Roll in a Bowl Recipe Quick ground pork cabbage stirfry with soy sauce a healthy lowcarb dinner hack ready in 20 mins
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 (14-ounce) bag coleslaw mix
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha
- 3 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Brown the Meat: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground pork and diced onion. Cook, breaking up the meat with your spoon, until the pork is cooked through and the onion is softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the Aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for just one minute more until incredibly fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic!
- Wilt the Veggies: Add the entire bag of coleslaw mix to the skillet. Toss everything together and cook for 3-5 minutes, until the cabbage has wilted slightly but still has a bit of crunch.
- Create the Sauce: Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and Sriracha (if using). Stir well to coat all the ingredients evenly. Let it cook for another 2 minutes so the flavors can meld together beautifully.
- Serve and Enjoy: Remove the skillet from the heat. Top with your sliced green onions and serve immediately. It’s delicious on its own or over a bed of rice or cauliflower rice for a more complete meal.
