Gluten free herb garlic pull apart bread recipe Simple steps ingredients Bake soft flavorful GF bread now Perfect for any meal
Ingredients
Scale
- 2.5 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour blend (with xanthan gum)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole milk, warmed
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a standard 9×5 inch loaf pan thoroughly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate medium bowl, combine the warmed milk, egg, and half of the melted butter. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms. Do not overmix.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining melted butter with the chopped parsley, rosemary, and minced garlic.
- Using a small cookie scoop or two spoons, portion the dough into small, rough balls (about 1-inch in size). Dip each ball into the herb-garlic butter, coating it generously.
- Place the coated dough balls into the prepared loaf pan, stacking them haphazardly to create nooks and crannies.
- Sprinkle the top with the optional Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before carefully turning it out onto a wire rack. Serve warm.
