Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • Your favorite toppings: pepperoni slices, cooked sausage, diced green pepper, black olives, etc.
  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grab an 8×8 inch baking dish or a similar-sized oven-safe skillet.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Beat with a hand mixer or stir vigorously until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  • Fold in 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese and all of the Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed.
  • Spread this creamy cheese mixture evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
  • Carefully spoon the pizza sauce over the cheese layer and use the back of the spoon to spread it into an even layer, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Artfully arrange your chosen toppings over the cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and the cheese on top is melted and just starting to get golden spots.
  • Let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving—this helps it set up so it’s dippable, not runny!
