Description

Gluten-free spaghetti & meatballs recipe. Discover top pasta brands, simple meatball tech & best sauce secrets for your GF Italian dinner. Perfect for celiac diets.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 24 oz jar marinara sauce
  • 1 lb gluten-free spaghetti
  • Fresh basil

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, gently combine the ground beef, gluten-free breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll the mixture into about 1 to 1.5-inch balls. You should get roughly 18-20 meatballs.
  • Heat the 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides. Remove them and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the diced onion until soft, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Pour the marinara sauce into the skillet. Return the browned meatballs to the sauce. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.
  • While the sauce simmers, cook your gluten-free spaghetti according to package directions in a large pot of well-salted water.
  • Drain the pasta and divide it among bowls. Top with meatballs and sauce. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh Parmesan and basil leaves.

Notes

A delicious and surprisingly simple recipe for gluten free spaghetti and meatballs. Tender, flavorful meatballs simmered in a rich marinara sauce make for a crowd-pleasing, family-friendly dinner that’s perfect for any night of the week.
