  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the crescent dough sheet onto the prepared baking sheet, pressing any perforations to seal.
  • In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and spreadable.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Dollop the cranberry sauce over the cream cheese layer. Gently swirl the two together with a spoon or spatula.
