A luxurious, dairy-rich avocado ice cream made with ripe avocados, heavy cream, and lime juice. This unique dessert is both creamy and subtly sweet, perfect for cooling down and satisfying cravings with healthy fats.

Ingredients

Scale

2 ripe avocados, peeled, pitted, and flesh scooped out
1 ½ cups heavy cream (cold, at least 30% fat)
¾ cup white sugar (150 grams)
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

Instructions

Place the blender and loaf pan in the freezer for 30 minutes to chill.
Blend avocados, heavy cream, sugar, and lime juice in a high-powered blender until smooth and creamy (30 seconds).
Transfer mixture to chilled loaf pan and smooth the surface with a spatula.
Cover with food-safe plastic wrap (pressing gently to seal the surface) to prevent ice crystals.
Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before serving for easier scooping.

Notes

Toppings like chocolate shavings or fresh fruit work well.
Adjust sugar to taste based on avocado sweetness.
Use a chilled dome lid for storage to prevent freezer burn.
