Description

Whip up fluffy Dairy-Free Gluten-Free Dinner Rolls with this easy recipe. Learn the best gluten-free flour blend and yeast-proofing techniques for perfect soft rolls every time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups (270g) All-Purpose Gluten-Free Flour Blend
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) Active Dry Yeast
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Warm Unsweetened Almond Milk (about 110°F)
  • 1/4 cup Avocado Oil
  • 1 large Egg, at room temperature

Instructions

  • Activate the Yeast: In a small bowl, combine the warm almond milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  • Combine the Dough: In a stand mixer bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, oil, and egg. Mix on low until combined, then beat on medium for 2-3 minutes.
  • Let the Dough Rise: Scrape the dough into an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 60-90 minutes until doubled in size.
  • Shape the Rolls: Punch down the dough. Divide into 9 equal pieces, roll into balls, and place in a parchment-lined 8×8 inch baking pan.
  • Second Rise and Bake: Cover the pan and let the rolls rise for 30-45 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown.
